Nick’s passion for theatre and live events started with him producing backdrops and show cards for London’s vibrant entertainment industry.
Working increasingly with computer based graphics he moved into technology sales and marketing, developing a background in enterprise software, (systems integration, storage and content management). Realising communications platforms would eventually converge and require increasingly dynamic content, Nick returned to agency-side operations in early 2000.
Naturally enthusiastic and entrepreneurial, Nick’s broad commercial and technical background and love of most things creative has enabled him to quickly establish Rocket as an exciting, innovative and fast growing company in the brand engagement and communications production marketplace.
With 3 feature films under his belt receiving accolades at Cannes Film Festival, numerous short films released internationally and many a music video directed and produced by himself, Rob is never more at home than when he is behind a camera.
He also provided all the animation for Jeff Wayne’s War of the worlds franchise including the live shows,
broadcast and advertisements, featuring names like Liam Neeson and Gary Barlow.
Rob is also interested in new software development and is considered one of the pioneers in augmented reality, having developed the platform and implementing it for various high
Rob brings to Rocket his love of production and technology, creating a perfect blend of skills to create the content that Rocket is known for.
Andy joins Rocket with 16 years marketing experience in a leading ERP software provider, 4 years in the pro audio distribution industry and an earlier career in design/pre-press for Harpers & Queen, SHE and Cosmopolitan.
Extremely self reliant, Andy looks to understand the essence of every project from a clients point of view and then develop integrated strategies completely in line with company objectives.
Used to operating at board level, Andy collaborated closely with key Directors to provide marketing support for a large £m management buyout, as well as a number of very high net worth sales proposals. Combining this work with regular campaign management, branding and marketing strategy input and support meant he was an instrumental part of growing a business from £5m to £65m and helping it achieve the accolade of being 60th in the Times Top 100 companies to work for.
Recently managing an internal engagement event for 700+ employees, leading the development of digital content, interactive activities and internal brand engagement that continues to be successfully adopted and shared across an 800 people strong organisation since its launch two years ago.
This adds up to a rare mix of strategical planning, tactical delivery and creative design along with a solid appreciation for practical event production and content creation. To Rocket’s clients, it means valuable marketing insight, experience, focus and return on investment.
Finance and Logistics Manager
Having an analytical eye on all aspects financial, Amy has in excess of 20 years accounts experience with corporate heavyweights such as Siemens, Vauxhall and Nationwide. However, Amy’s unique experience in logistics management makes her an invaluable asset to Rocket and it’s clients.
Having organised launch events, track days and supercar experience holidays for TVR to successfully tour managing well known music acts from Peter Gabriel and George Michael to The White Stripes and Simon Collins, Amy brings a unique skillset to keep Rocket projects on track.
With broad experience in areas such as credit control, board reporting, bank reconciliation and cash flow forecasting, Amy understands the requirements of independent businesses through to large corporates.
Since working with Rocket, Amy has been heavily involved with corporate event management, artist relations, travel arrangements and event budgets, helping Rocket deliver world class events.
David’s passion and knowledge of cinema radiates throughout his work at Rocket, from capturing rich visual content to perfectly matching audio and motion picture.
Experienced in professional video production, David keeps a keen eye on latest technology, equipment and techniques enabling Rocket to offer its clients sought after skills and expertise.
A qualified drone pilot, David is never happier than being on location providing a new perspective on traditional film capture.
